Hello crafty people,
Am back with a new project where i have made a gift box
using Papericious products and Magical Mica powder from Imaginations.
you can buy Mica powders and Papericious products by visiting https://imaginationsonline.com/
and you can visit their blog for more tutorials by clicking HERE
I have a picture tutorial for the same.
I started with layering a paper from “Our wedding” paper collection.
I sprayed some water and tore at two random places and placed another
contrasting colour sheet from same pack beneath it.
Then i used doily stamp and stamped it using versamark ink
and spread the crimson red mica powder over it.
One stamped image got damaged as my stamp moved a bit but i
found a solution to it by layering a chipboard cut-out, again from papericious
over it.
I used Papericious Sigma cardstock to create rose flowers
and a small bud, once my flower was ready i used mystical gold mica powder with
water and spread it over the flower to bring the shine. Used Spellbinder
foliage and Holiday die set for the leaves.
I stamped three butterflies from Kaisercraft stamps using
black Archival ink, coloured using Zig clear brush colours and fussy cut them.
Now as i wanted some more movement in my card i created my
own wobble. Can u guess what i used to make my wobble? A left over wire from
the mulberry paper flowers. Isn’t it amazing to use all the left over into
something amazing?
I rolled the wire around a pen refill three times. Then took
a small paper piece and used hot glue gun to stick the rolled wire over it and
on the second side i stuck the butterfly.
I created three such butterfly wobbles.
Still i was feeling something was missing. So to place my
sentiment i created a shaker using heart shaped dies, Papericious Grey bloom
paper, Papericious sequins.
I used Silhouette cameo to get my “Happy Birthday”sentiment.
I also got two borders cut out using Silhouette cameo and
free cut file from https://www.birdscards.com/
And here is the gift box ready.
Have a small video to show how the butterfly moves with shaker heart.
