shaker card

Hello crafty people, today i am here to share a simple card i made using distress inks, memory box stencil, ohp sheet, few die cuts and much needed blings.

Moving to the card i took white cardstock, layered my stencil and used distress inks to get the background. Used fabercastle sketchpens to highlight the flowers in the stencil.
then took another cardstock and made a frame out of it and adhered an ohp sheet on side and then applied two way tape and stuck it on my main cardstock which i had distressed with red color.before i removed backing from the forth side of foam tape i inserted some blings as shaking elements. used diecuts for making flower and the leafy vine. the butterfly and the tag is also die cut.
The envelope was decorated with a decorative tape, handmade paper and pattern paper.
hope you will enjoy this card. So shake shake...

happy birthday box card- tulip love

Hello wonderful people out there, sharing one more box card.
I stamped the images on Irish paper and coloured with zig clear marker pens.
Assembled them in the box to form layers.
Stamped images on small squares and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then used distress inks for the background. Used these squares to decorate the three flaps of box.

I loved the soft colours.
Hope you guys will also love it.

Easel birthday card with rainbow of thoughts canvas

Hello friends,
There are few cards to be shared. would like to share them. Made this card sometime back but didn't get time to post. It was made by going through Dr. Sonia S V's tutorial, you can find the link below. Her tutorials are so easy to follow.
http://cardsandschoolprojects.blogspot.in/2011/10/santa-shaped-easel-card-i-am-very-much.html

I modifies the card according to my requirements. die cut a feather and a butterfly, added a baker's twine and did some embossing on vellum sheet with embossing folder. i distressed the background white cardstock with yellow and orange distress ink, and rubbed the embossed image with golden ink pad. Added few pearls near the sentiment.

Moving to the canvas, i painted the canvas sheet with rainbow colors and painted swirls in white in place of clouds and leaves in black.

Rainbow

Hello crafty peeps,
Hope you all waiting for the colourful day of Holi. Today I am here to share some colourful cards and other items along with.
I made a small combo of 3 cards and 1 money envelope and 3 tags.
For 3 cards and money envelope I have used same stencil but different color combo and different die cuts and of course different sentiments.
Let's look at them one by one.
For the above card I used red card store to make the quilled rose. Green card sheet for some die cut leaves and memory box stencil along with distress inks. Applied a big rhinestone in the centre. In real it shines like real diamond.

For the above "Best wishes" card I used the peacock feather die cut and spellbinder die to add to the sentiment tag on both ends. Coloured the feather using Faber castle color pens. Used baker's twine to tie a bow to the stick of feather. Usen white versa mark ink pad for the sentiment.
The tags came out so beautiful that I am totally in love with them. I took white card stock, memory box stencil and pair of colours
1: red and indigo
2: orange, blue and violet though the shade is not that clearly visible but you can see in centre of tag.
3: yellow and green.
I partially cut using spellbinder die to get the top of tag.

Isn't it lovely.
The above money envelope is again using memory box stencil, distress inks. Sentiment is heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Used a die cut vine and some die cut flowers.
The final card of the combo is using spellbinder dies and die cut butterfly and handmade paper flower. To get the wave effect I cut the circular die cut out in half and arranged it in opposite direction. Heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.

Hope you all like it .
