Mixed media door hanger

Hello crafty people out there.
Vrajangna here to share with you a mixed mediadoor hanger i made recently.

I have a small tutorial, hope it will be useful.
I got a door hanger shaped mdf cutout from a local vendor.

I painted it in baby pink Asian paint colour.
I left it to dry overnight.
Next day once it was dry i used artbasics modelling paste and memory box stencil to get the texture.

Allowed it to dry.
Coloured the rim in dark metallic pink.
I took papericious sigma cardstock and my recently bought flower die from Nakshathra designs.

I didn't have permanent inks except versamark so i used them to colour the Flowers.

Used tonic studio embossing tools and silicone glue from itsybitsy to make the flowers.

Once my flowers were ready i used glossy accent over the tips of flower petals and sprinkled rock candy clear glitter.

I coloured the primadoll using zigclear brush colour pens, fussy cut it and used two way foam tape to attach to the mdf hanger.
I have used artificial velvet leaves for the flowers.
In the centre of one the flowers i applied silicone glue and sprinkled micro beads.

Tadaa my hanger is ready.

Few close ups

Hope you all liked it and enjoyed it

Card in a box

Hello folks,

Well the day i saw the digi stamp i got from Ericraft stamp as design team member, i had this card in mind.
I created a card in a box by upcycling a brochure.

I have collected number of brochures as we are in search of new home. I kept them safely as they are really study enough to work on.
Moving ahead with the card
I cut a rectangle measuring 13 inches by 7 inches.

Scored the longer side at 3", 6", 9" and 12".
Now rotate the paper and score at 4" on 7" side.
Now cut on the score lines 3, 6, 9 and 12 inch till u reach 4 inch scoreline.
You will get like this

I used party themed pattern paper and butterfly designed foil paper to cover up the brochure.
I joined the extra 1 inch (12"-13" ) left on one side to stick to the opposite end and create a box. Folded the three flaps on outside n leaving one straight as it is.

I stamped flowers from botonical bloom stamp set from mudra stamps and fussy cut it.
I used jef heart die 2 different sizes and embossed the smaller die cut and used twoway tape to create a depth.
I arranged the flowers to create a garden scene and stuck them using strips of acrylic sheet so they wont be visible and will even move with wind.
I colored the stamp"flowers for you" using zig clear brush markers and arranged it on to of heart.
I die cut the die "you" i bought from DCAM stamped Love and fussy cut it.

For the first time i tried selective embossing.
It was fun and brought life to the project.
Close up of selective embossing.

Hope you all enjoyed it.

Flowers for you-Erica stamps

Hello wonderful people out there.
Today i am here to share my DT post for yet another awesome digital stamp company, Erica stamps.

There is a new release named "flowers for you".
You can buy this wonderful stamp by clicking HERE. Remember its on sale so don't miss out the chance.
Moving ahead with the card...
I took sigma cardstock from Papericious and using stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie designs created a panel. I coloured the image using Zig clearbrush markers.
Distressed the corners.
For the base of the card i took a cardstock measuring 6 inches by 13 inches. Scored at 4 , 8 and 12 inches.
Folded it to form a normal 4 by 6 inch card with a slit inside.
Took two more pieces of cardstock for the inner sliders measuring 3.5 inches into 6 inches, a bit smaller so they can slide easily.
I used distress inks and Mudra botonical bloom stamp set for the inner to sliders.

Used hugs die from Lawn Fawn and the corner branch is from Spellbinder holiday die set and flower die from Nakshathra designs.
Its time to assemble.
To make the slider i took a satin ribbon and rolled it around the inner folding (1st scored portion measuring 4 by 6 inches) and joined the ends.

After joining the two ends of ribbon, stick the two slider pieces in opposite directions of the card. Remember to stick only on the ribbon and not the card base.

I hope i am clear.
Once done seal the 1 inch extra part( 12" -13") inside to lock the slider.
I am attaching a link to double slider card tutorial found on YouTube. Hope it can be of some use.

I then adheared the stamped image over the slider card and used the die cuts to decorate it.

Hope you all will love it.

Moving ahead with my DT post i just loved the digital flower doll image and i came up with two cards.

Card 1:

For this simple card i took a white card stock measuring 4 by 12 inches and folded at 6 inches.
Took Bielo paper measuring 3.5 by 5.5 inches and rounded off the corners.
distressed it with sky blue shade.
Used hero art stamp and inked it with Indigo versamark color and stamped it.
I got the image printed on water color sheet and used zig real brush markers for colouring it. Fussy cut it.
Assembled the flower doll in the center and Happy birthday sentiment below it on the bielo paper and finally on white cardstock.

Card 2:
For this double twist and pop card i used eno greeting card pattern paper. Used punched flowers and leaves. Die cut butterfly from cherry lynn die and central panel using spellbinder die. Assembled it as shown. On the two sides i adhered the digitalstamp and coloured it using zig clear brush markers. Hope you all will love it.
